好 + verb: nice to do
好吃 · 好看 · 好听 · 好玩儿
好 before a verb makes a word of praise: 好吃 “nice to eat”, 好看 “nice to look at”, 好听 “nice to hear”, 好玩儿 “fun to play”. You can guess new words of this shape.
Examples
- 这个菜很好吃。 Zhège cài hěn hǎochī. This dish is delicious.
- 这个电影很好看。 Zhège diànyǐng hěn hǎokàn. This film is really good.
- 这个歌很好听。 Zhège gē hěn hǎotīng. This song sounds really nice.
