Verb + result: 听懂, 找到, 做好
verb + 懂 / 到 / 好
The second word tells the result: 听懂 “listen and understand”, 找到 “look for and find”, 做好 “make until it's ready”. The negative is 没: 我没听懂, 没找到. 听 alone says only “listened”.
Examples
- 你听懂了吗？ Nǐ tīngdǒng le ma? Did you understand it (by ear)?
- 我找到手机了。 Wǒ zhǎodào shǒujī le. I found my phone.
- 饭做好了。 Fàn zuò hǎo le. The meal is ready.
