Dates and weekdays: 月, 号, 星期
三月十五号 · 星期三
A date goes from big to small: 三月十五号, “March, 15th”. Months and weekdays are just numbers: 三月 is March, 星期三 is Wednesday. Ask 几号？ and 星期几？ 是 is often left out: 明天星期六.
Examples
- 今天几号？ Jīntiān jǐ hào? What's the date today?
- 今天是三月十五号。 Jīntiān shì sān yuè shíwǔ hào. Today is March 15th.
- 明天星期六。 Míngtiān xīngqīliù. Tomorrow is Saturday.
