都: all, both

(who) 都 + verb

都 means “all” or “both”. It comes after the people it is about and before the verb.

Examples

  • 我们都是学生。 Wǒmen dōu shì xuésheng. We are all students.
  • 他们都很好。 Tāmen dōu hěn hǎo. They are all fine.
