Number + 个 + noun
三个人 · 两个孩子
A measure word goes between a number and a noun; 个 is the most common one. Before a measure word, “two” is 两, not 二.
Examples
- 我有三个朋友。 Wǒ yǒu sān ge péngyou. I have three friends.
- 他有两个孩子。 Tā yǒu liǎng ge háizi. He has two children.
