随着: as … changes

随着 means 'as, along with': one thing changes and another changes with it. The first half is 随着 + thing + 的 + change (发展, 增长); the second half is a change too, often with 越来越: 随着经济的发展，城市越来越大.

Examples

• 随着经济的发展，城市越来越大。 Suízhe jīngjì de fāzhǎn, chéngshì yuèláiyuè dà. As the economy grows, cities keep getting bigger.
• 随着年龄的增长，他越来越安静了。 Suízhe niánlíng de zēngzhǎng, tā yuèláiyuè ānjìng le. As he gets older, he's getting quieter.
