对…来说: for someone
对 A 来说,…
Whose point of view it is goes in the frame 对…来说 at the start of the sentence: 对我来说, “for me, as I see it”. “For me” tempts you to use 为我 or 给我, but here it has to be 对…来说.
Examples
- 对我来说,汉语不难。 Duì wǒ lái shuō, Hànyǔ bù nán. For me, Chinese isn't hard.
- 对孩子来说,这本书太难了。 Duì háizi lái shuō, zhè běn shū tài nán le. This book is too hard for a child.
- 对他来说,钱不是最重要的。 Duì tā lái shuō, qián bú shì zuì zhòngyào de. To him, money isn't the most important thing.
