无论 / 不管…都: no matter what
无论 / 不管 + question,(A) 都 …
无论 and 不管 mean “no matter who / how / how much”; the result keeps 都 before its verb. Inside always goes an open question: 谁, 什么, 多, 好不好. Not 不管天气好, but 不管天气好不好. 不管 is more casual, 无论 more bookish.
Examples
- 无论谁来都行。 Wúlùn shéi lái dōu xíng. Anyone can come.
- 不管天气好不好,他都去跑步。 Bùguǎn tiānqì hǎo bu hǎo, tā dōu qù pǎobù. Rain or shine, he goes running.
- 无论多忙,她每天都学习汉语。 Wúlùn duō máng, tā měi tiān dōu xuéxí Hànyǔ. However busy she is, she studies Chinese every day.
