如果…就…: if…, then…
如果 …, 就 … · …的话, 就 …
如果 is “if”. The second part almost always has 就, “then”, before the verb. 的话 at the end of the condition means the same: 你累的话. You can use 如果 and 的话 together or just one.
Examples
- 如果明天下雨，我们就不去了。 Rúguǒ míngtiān xià yǔ, wǒmen jiù bú qù le. If it rains tomorrow, we won't go.
- 你累的话，就休息一下。 Nǐ lèi de huà, jiù xiūxi yíxià. If you're tired, take a rest.
- 如果你有时间，就来我家吧。 Rúguǒ nǐ yǒu shíjiān, jiù lái wǒ jiā ba. If you have time, come to my place.
